Colorado State – Cannabis Job Requirements:
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Must be a Colorado resident and least 21 years of age.
- Must pass an extensive background screening which includes, but is not limited to, criminal background checks (local, state and federal with NO FELONIES or Class A or B misdemeanor convictions).
Cannabis Employer – Job Preferences:
- Preference is usually given to candidates with marijuana industry work experience or product knowledge.
- Mature, business-minded, and independent to be successful working in diverse settings.
- High School diploma or GED is usually necessary; college diploma preferred.
- Must have a reliable form of transportation.
- Experience as a bartender will be helpful for Budtender positions.

Job training, assistance with obtaining state occupational licenses, and job placement services are provided through Cannabis Regulatory Solutions for $125 per person.
